Frequently Asked Questions

No — this is a fire hazard. The element must always be at the bottom.
Can the element be installed on the left or right side?
Yes — either side is suitable.
Do I need to refill the radiator?
No — it is a sealed prefilled system.
Can I use a plug instead of a fused spur?
No — UK Building Regulations require a fused connection. Installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
Can I use an external timer?
Yes — except for the Sun Digital model (which has a built-in timer).
